Our principal Solicitor and Director, Kirsten is a former pupil of Kirkintilloch High School and Strathclyde University graduate, she was admitted as a Solicitor and Notary Public in 1991. Specialising in property, wills and executries, Kirsten had 25 years experience with firms large and small in west central Scotland before returning to her Kirkintilloch roots to set up her own business in 2017. Since then, Anderson Legal Ltd has grown to employ several local people and our reputation as the friendly local firm flourishes.

Andrew Kenneth Mack


Solicitor & Notary Public

After leaving Bishopbriggs Academy, Andy graduated from Glasgow University in 2016. Legal Diploma at Glasgow University followed before training at a major commercial firm before joining us in 2020. Andy’s areas of expertise are wills, Powers of Attorney and Executries. He is our Inheritance Tax expert and can offer advise on the steps you can take now to save your family stress and money after your death.

Kathleen McDowall


Member of the Scottish Paralegal Association

Kathleen obtained her degree from Strathclyde University in 2015 for Business Law and Marketing. Kathleen is currently studying for her Law Degree at Strathclyde University on a part time basis. Originally from Fife, but now living locally, Kathleen is a conveyancing expert and can guide you through your sale or purchase from start to finish. Always approachable and thoroughly professional, Kathleen also runs our cash department.

Gurpreet Walley

Member of the Scottish Paralegal Association

Gurpreet may well be your first point of contact when you phone or visit our office. With her larger-than-life personality, she helps all of our clients feel at ease while guiding them through the legal aspects of buying and selling their homes. Gurpreet gained a HND in Legal Services from the City of Glasgow College and also holds a Specialist Paralegal Qualification in Residential Conveyancing from Strathclyde University.

Laura Telfer

Laura has worked with us on a part time basis since 2017. Currently studying Accountancy, she has experience in Estate Agency, admin, reception and is an indispensable part of our team.

Andrew Stephen

IT & Business Management

Andrew is our IT expert and archivist. Every legal firm processes huge amounts of confidential data and everything we do has to comply with the Law Society of Scotland’s rigorous standards. Andrew’s role is mainly behind the scenes so you may not meet him, but he is essential to the safe, smooth running of our office.

Fraser Telfer

Admin Assistant

Fraser is a Lenzie Academy and University of Strathclyde student studying International Business. He joined our team on a part time basis in 2021.
